Inter 2 – 0 Parma
The ‘Nerazzurri’ win their 21st league title after taking advantage of Napoli and Milan’s slip-ups

Inter won the Scudetto.
Inter Milan only needed a point against Parma to secure the Scudetto, and they delivered. Following Napoli’s draw and Milan’s defeat, the Nerazzurri had their fate in their own hands and clinched a 2-0 victory over Parma, led by Carlos Cuesta. Christian Chivu earned his first title as a coach against his former team.
A draw would have been enough for Inter, but they started aggressively to take the lead early. Parma took time to find their rhythm, eventually doing so through Strefezza, a player whose low center of gravity poses problems for taller defenders. The first chance of the match fell to the hosts.
Barella delivered a measured cross to Dumfries’ head, but the Dutchman sent it straight to Suzuki. Nicolò was the standout performer in the first half. In the 26th minute, he orchestrated a move that ended with a left-footed strike hitting the crossbar. The ball rebounded off Suzuki’s back, and Thuram nearly reached it, denied only by the goalkeeper’s feline reflexes. The French forward was also in the spotlight.
Struggling in attack but precise in defense, Thuram showcased his aerial ability. However, it wasn’t all about headers. A combined Inter move ended with Zielinski spotting his striker. Marcus placed the ball past Suzuki to open the scoring just before halftime.
Inter dominated the second half as well, but the second goal took time to arrive. Lautaro Martínez’s entry was celebrated at the Giuseppe Meazza as if it were a title win. The captain had not played since April 5 due to a soleus injury and made an immediate impact.
The clearest chance of the second half fell to Dumfries. Dimarco delivered a sensational cross, and the Dutchman produced a shocking miss, sending it skyward. Lautaro had to step in. The Argentine made a classic number nine run and delivered a precise pass to Mkhitaryan, who slotted home easily.
Frattesi had the final opportunity, but the referee checked his watch—no goal. Inter are once again crowned kings of Italy, with their captain back in action. What more could football fans ask for?
