According to a report from China Central Television (CCTV) on May 12, the White House released the list of business leaders who will accompany Trump on his trip to China on May 11.
Multiple U.S. media outlets reported that a total of 16 American business representatives will travel to Beijing, representing companies across sectors including technology, finance, aviation, and agriculture:
In the technology sector, representatives include Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Apple CEO Tim Cook, and executives from semiconductor companies such as Qualcomm and Micron.
In the financial sector, the visiting business leaders come from Wall Street giants including Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, and Blackstone.
Additionally, Boeing and Cargill represent the aviation and agricultural industries, respectively.
